π¨ Owner Account Risk
In the extremely unfortunate event that the Owner account is compromised, the system has built-in protections to safeguard user funds. However, certain parts of the contract may still be at risk.
β Protected Assetsβ
π° Users' Initial Deposits Are Safeβ
All users will not lose their originally deposited funds. The protocol ensures that:
- Initial deposits are isolated from Owner privileges.
- No action from the Owner can directly steal or drain usersβ principal balances.
π Users Can Always Withdraw Initial Fundsβ
Even in the case of an Owner hijack:
- Users can still withdraw their initial deposits.
- Funds will not be locked or blackholed due to the Owner compromise.
β οΈ Assets at Riskβ
β Unclaimed Interest May Be Lostβ
Interest that has been generated but not yet claimed by users may:
- Become inaccessible.
- Be effectively lost forever if the contract logic is disrupted by the hijack.
π Contract May Need to Be Sunsetβ
The compromised Owner may impact contract functionality, in which case:
- The contract may need to be sunset.
- A dedicated UI will be developed to help users safely withdraw their remaining funds.
𧩠Recovery tools and fallback plans will be initiated to ensure user funds are preserved, even if operations cease.
